There are a wealth of great places to eat nearby; Langar Hall, Chequers at Woolsthorpe by Belvoir , The Unicorn's Head Langar, The Crown at Old Dalby, The Wheel at Branston (under new ownership 30th July 2022).

We have also teamed up with a couple of great Chefs who can deliver your dinner party for you just to finish off, deliver your breakfast box or afternoon tea. All details in our digital guidebook. Book early so as not to miss out!

If you just want to enjoy the Red Barn holiday cottage there is a fantastic choice of local produce to graze on. We love the farm shops; March House and Gates Farm Shops are fabulous, there is the Engine Yard (must go to Jorge's Artisan Foods), Melton Mowbray Farmers Market (Tuesday and Friday), and you can get fresh fish delivered to the door on a Thursday evening ready to barbecue. Christmas markets at The Engine Yard.
Chez Sebastien deliver artisan pizzas on a Friday and Saturday, and if you want a barbecue go and see Richard at Dickie's Butchery Plungar, and / or Grasmere (best sausages!) and Rob Bowring at the Farmer's Market.
